Renkler Dünyası…
Öğrenciler görseller ile renklerin isimlerini öğrendiler. Internet üzerinden “Gökkuşağı Renkleri”, “Renkler”, “Renkli Şekiller”şarkılarını izlediler, dinlediler. Sınıfta renkli objeleri bulup, gösterip renklerini söylediler. Sonra, renk kartlarını oyun halısındaki uygun olan renk kutuları ile eşleştirdiler. Ayrıca, bilgilerini pekiştirmek amacıyla Gems materyallerini renklerine göre oyun halısındaki renk kutularının üzerine koyarak değişik şekiller oluşturdular.
World of Colours…
Students learned and revised colours with visuals. They watched and listened to the songs such as “ The Rainbow Colours”, “The Colour Song”, “ The Colourful Shapes” from the Internet. They showed colourful objects around the classroom and named colours. Then, they matched their colour cards with the appropriate colourful boxes on the play mat. Besides, students put GEMS materials on the boxes according to their colours and created different colourful sahapes in order to reinforce their knowledge.

Gözler, Ağız, Burun, Kulaklar...
Başın bölümlerinden göz, ağız, burun ve kulaklar kelimelerini İngilizce olarak öğrendiler. Öğrenciler kendi gözlerini, burunlarını, ağızla, kulaklarını gösterdiler. Pipetten ve karton kağıttan gülen yüzlü kuklalar yaptılar. Kuklaları boyadılar. Kelimeleri (göz, ağız, burun, kulaklar) kuklaların üzerinde göstererek ve söyleyerek tekrar ettiler. Ayrıca, renkler de tekrar edildi. Sonra, “Baş, Omuzlar…” şarkısını dinlediler ve hareketleriyle söylediler.

Eyes, Mouth, Nose,Ears...
Students learned vocabularies about parts of the head such as eyes, mouth, nose and ears. They showed their parts of the head. They made smiling puppets made of pipette and construction paper. They coloured their puppets. They revised vocabularies by pointing and saying the parts of the head on their puppets. Additionally, colours were repeated. Then, they listen to the song “Head and Shoulders…” and sang this song with actions.
